I'm Adrian Orda, and for as long as I can remember, stories have been my compass, guiding me through strange new worlds and helping me make sense of things. My shelves are packed with everything from dark fantasy to old-school horror, and authors like Peter V. Brett, Graham Masterton, and Tolkien have shaped my literary tastes.

That love of reading naturally evolved into writing my dark fantasy and sci-fi. It's a passion I pursue in the moments between full-time work and family life, which often means late nights after my four-year-old daughter is asleep. My past as a dedicated gamer (WoW, Lineage 2, Diablo 2) also feeds into my writing, influencing the worlds I love creating.

I've always preferred stories that are built on simple words and plain, impactful concepts. Nothing grinds my gears more than investing time in a gripping book, only for plot events to contradict each other or for characters to conveniently forget vital information they know. For me, good fiction – especially fantasy and sci-fi – must be believable; its internal logic and facts need to make sense.
